Riverside Drive has a new computer lab!
 Throughout the 2007-2008 school year, Riverside's parents and faculty worked hard to raise funds to upgrade our computer lab!
 The old computers were last purchased nearly a decade ago! The desks were old and cumbersome and didn't fit the demands of current technology!
Last spring, through parent donations and a generous grant from the Friedman Charitable Foundation, the Riverside was able to purchase brand new computers and workstations. The upgrade will allow us to continue to offer computer instruction to all 650 of Riverside's kindergarten through fifth-grade students.
 All of the students at Riverside have an opportunity to visit the lab with their class and teacher on a rotating basis.
Our brand new computer lab is a tremendous asset to our school. If you would like to volunteer your time or have access to software, hardware or computer-related talents that could be useful, feel free to contact Mrs. Jones through the school office or at the Lab.
