Music

Rhonda Wachtel, our new PFRD music teacher is a native New Yorker who attended the "Fame" high school of performing arts then went on to Boston University and received her music degree. She also lived in Florida for 10 years (where she was involved in the opera world) before moving to California. Besides teaching at Riverside, she is currently the Music Director at Wonderland Elementary and also teaches private piano, voice and guitar lessons. Rhonda is married to Steve who is a private investigator and they have a 7 1/2 yr old daughter who is attending Riverside in 2nd grade.

Rhonda is teaching K-3 grade classes as well as 2 choirs after school.
